Inside the Studio: A Work in Progress

Before a painting is seen by anyone else, it exists only in the studio — in unfinished passages, pencil lines still visible beneath the paint, and decisions that have not yet been made.

This entry will follow one work from first sketch to final glaze, with attention to the choices that rarely make it into a finished artist statement.
